Students
in Grade 5 receive 45 minutes of instruction in ELA, Science, and Social
Studies daily. They also receive an additional 45 minutes of reading and
80 minutes of math instruction in their homeroom. In addition, students
have a 45 minute special each day, which includes computers, music, art,
P.E., and math enrichment. The fifth grade team works together closely
to ensure that students make a smooth transition to the fifth grade
